SECURITY OFFICER HANDGUN PERMIT "BLUE CARD"
To receive a Security Officers Firearms Permit you must have a Connecticut Pistol Permit and a Security Officers Identification Card
You must also provide your own or a company handgun and one hundred rounds of ammunition as well as ear and eye protection
NOTE: While on duty as a security officer you will only be authorized to carry the handgun you were trained with. Refer to Connecticut General Statue 29-161 as it pertains to armed security officers.

If you do not have a Connecticut pistol permit, I can provide you with the training and certification to obtain one. If you take my pistol permit course and receive a pistol permit, I will deduct 10% of the fee from the Security Course.

Blue Card Classes are from 9am to 5pm
Class convenes at 11 Cricket Court, North Haven and concludes at either Chris' Indoor Range in Guilford or the Branford Gun Club, Branford

The training will also address the subjects of handgun retention, bullet effectiveness, practicing marksmanship skills effectively on your own, and much more
You will receive personalized instruction throughout the entire training program as you learn how to shoot accurately with your authorized handgun. I will personally monitor each and every shot that you fire to make certain that you are learning as you shoot.
Upon completion of the BLUE CARD COURSE you will receive a free handgun cleaning kit, a certificate of course completion, your own personalized course outline and State Police Form DPS1030c to
